As I watch our country go through the changes brought about from COVID19 I cannot help but take note of the term "War" being utilized on a consistent basis. I am perplexed because I know what war is like and there have been no winners in the conflicts that I have participated in. I honor each and every individual who is working during this time because of their courage during this vulnerable time. I lived through the first "drug war" against crack cocaine as many of my brothers and sisters were imprisoned for disproportionate amounts of time.
