Giving and loving go together. You can give without love but you can’t love without giving. Giving is how love expresses itself.
John 3:16 tells us "For God so loved the world that he GAVE His only begotten son..." God is the most generous being of all times and if we are to be like Christ we are to give. One of the ways we can do that is with our tithes and offerings. Giving our tithes is an opportunity to demonstrates our obedience and love for God. It is also God's opportunity to show His love and support for us. "Give and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap for with the measure you use it will be measured back to you."
